More Colour!

We started some more colour mixing activities today.  The students used food colouring an coffee filters to make secondary colours.  We’ll finish them up tomorrow.

Also, Mme Boras came to visit our class.  She spoke to us about her responsibilities at Ecole St. Mary.  It was great having her in our class today!

Creating Colour!

A couple of days ago, we started a little demonstration.  We placed red and yellow coloured water in cups along with some paper towels.  We made some predictions about what will happen.

Welcome Back!

Welcome to the 1CI classroom blog.  My name is Jacqui Chartier and I feel truly blessed to be able to work with your child this year.  It was wonderful to meet everyone today and I’m excited to get the year under way.  I have some great things planned this year and look forward to working together.

Today we made a big class puzzle, made caterpillars for our lockers, wrote in our journals and drew a picture of ourselves on the first day of school.  It was a great day!
